Fires in any industrial or commercial venture are an undesirable event, which not only presents a hazard to life safety, but also can result in major property damage, disruption to production, loss of sales and customers. A further consequence of a fire is that the insurance industry is less willing to accept the risk of substantial losses and therefore compensates by increasing premiums or requiring management to assume a larger portion of the risk.<\/p>\n

In most countries, the Health and Safety Act places the responsibility of safety on the employer i.e. Management. Management is required to take measures to ensure the safety of the working environment. Fire is a safety risk and requires adequate measures to prevent or limit the exposure or damage. Generally regarded of it\u2019s very nature a destructive and uncontrollable event, fire needs to be adequately assessed for risk potential.<\/p>\n

With the above in mind, the fire systems are fully engineered against SABS, standards as required. This is supported by specialist knowledge and experience of our personnel who have years of experience in their fields of expertise.
